Nature’s Best, Bottled

Luscombe received 73 Great Taste Awards amongst others..

Give their tonics a try and you’ll definitely get why 😋

The Story

Luscombe story starts way back, more than we could have ever imagined. It is since the distant 1087 that cider makers have been harvesting the fruits of Luscombe’s orchards. From 1975 Luscombe Drinks have put to fruit the estate’s produce quite literally, crafting and perfecting the drinks on the farm since 1975.

Apples have always been at the heart of Luscombe. Cider has been pressed and fermented on site since the twelfth century. The Luscombe family left the farm around 1750 and, two centuries later, the new owner Julian David, opened the next chapter in the company’s story. Julian saw the opportunity to sell freshly pressed drinks from the farm gate. Production increased over the years and, in 1983, Luscombe cider earned first prize and the Reserve Champion Award at the Devon County Show.

It is his son Gabriel David who, inspired by his travels in Sicily, began crafting classic English soft drinks and juices from organic ingredients. Every drink was – and still is today – entirely free from concentrates, additives, preservatives, colourings, artificial flavourings or enhancers.

Now supplying over 12 countries and producing more than 9.5 million bottles per year, the business continues to remain faithful to its principles and serve up ever more innovative natural flavours!

The Range

Luscombe has a wide range of soft drinks. They all taste delicious but we are particularly interested in the tonics. They come in 3 varieties: the classic tonic, the elderflower tonic and the grapefruit tonic. Made with the purest water in Devon and natural ingredients, these mixers perfectly complement and elevate the flavour of your favourite gin.
