9 Easy Drinks to Make With PINK Gin This Summer!

To whoever decided that pink gin was going to be the colour of the drink of the season, THANK YOU! Now the men in in our lives will not steal our G&Ts from us “because they are pink and girly”. Let’s hope they don’t find out they are delicious too!!

Here are a few ways to spice up your G&Ts and recipes to make some refreshing cocktails that are even better the ones that you’d get at a gin bar… Call your friends around, get bbq going and and enjoy these gin drinks in the sun. Wimbledon has also started and we can’t think of a better time to enjoy some strawberries in every form than while watching the tennis!

Our gin of choice to make these summer cocktails is Greenall’s Wild Berry Gin but feel free to experiment with other pink gins our there. Let us know your twists in the comments – we’re always on the lookout for different, delicious gin recipes!

 

Wild Berry Frosé

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Pink Gin
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 10ml raspberry purée
  • 10ml strawberry purée
  • 30ml simple syrup
  • 65ml rosé wine

Method:

Blend all ingredients with ice until smooth granita texture is achieved and pour into a large highball, hurricane or sling glass. Garnish with a strawberry fan!

 

Forest Fruit Cup

 

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Pink Gin
  • 25ml fresh lemon juice
  • 10ml Cointreau
  • 15ml simple syrup
  • 1 Thin slice ginger
  • 150ml ginger beer

Method:

Gently press the ginger slice into the bottom of a large glass, pour over the other ingredients and stir. Garnish with ginger slices lemon, mint, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and cucumber. This drink works really well as a sharing cocktail, multiply the ingredients by four, throw all the garnish and ginger into a large jug and squash. Add all the rest and stir well.

 

Dolce Vita

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 45ml Pink Gin
  • 15ml Aperol
  • 15ml sweet vermouth
  • 5ml passion fruit syrup

Method:

Stir all ingredients well with ice to chill and dilute and strain over a large chunk of ice in a tumbler or whisky glass. Garnish with an orange slice.

 

Pretty in Pink

 

Ingredients:

  • 40ml Pink Gin
  • 20ml raspberry puree
  • 30ml cream
  • 10ml crème de fraise de bois

Method:

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with a fresh raspberry.

 

Lazy Summer G&T

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Pink Gin
  • 1 strawberry
  • 150ml elderflower tonic

Method:

Crush the strawberry, add ice and pour over the other ingredients in a highball glass. Garnish with strawberry slices and a lemon twist.

 

Greenall’s Wild Berry Gin & Lemon OR Tonic

 

 

Ingredients:

 

Wild Berry Flora Dora

 

 

Ingredients: 

  • 40ml Pink Gin
  • 20ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 10ml Raspberry Syrup
  • Ginger Beer

Method:

Mix the lime, raspberry syrup and the gin in a mixing glass or shaker, pour in a glass filled with ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime and raspberry!

 

Bramble

 

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Gin (we recommend Greenall’s Wild Berry)
  • 25ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 12.5ml shot Sugar syrup (check out the easy recipe to make your own here)
  • 12.5ml shot Creme de Mure (Blackberry Liqueur) – plus a little more to drizzle.
