Cool down with a Gooseberry Gin Julep! 🍸🌿
When it gets hot in the UK, we do struggle with the heat… so I decided to make an extra long, refreshing Gooseberry Gin cocktail to quench your thirst!
This Slingsby Gooseberry Gin Julep is delicious! I wanted to make it with a little fizz too, so topped it up with some wonderful Yorkshire Tonic water! I used a copa gin class, but feel free to make it in a more traditional high-ball glass.
Gooseberry Gin Julep Recipe
- 8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus a small sprig to garnish
- 20ml of elderflower cordial
- Crushed ice
- 50ml of Slingsby Gooseberry Gin
- 50-100ml Yorkshire Tonic water (if wanting a longer/fizzy drink!)
