Drink Gin & Help Fund Life Changing Water Projects – OneWater

What if we told you that you could drink gin and help change the world? I know, it sounds a bit farfetched but you can certainly help when you buy certain gins and the newly launched One Gin is one of them.

The gin is from the One Foundation, the people behind the well know One Water which has sold millions of bottles of water and raised over £15 million for life-changing water projects across the world in some of the poorest communities. They have since been developing a gin which they hope will raise many more millions and help more people get access to safe and clean drinking water.

The Gin

Containing 9 botanicals, the One Gin is being distilled at the Blackdown Distillery in Sussex by award-winning distiller Sarah Thompson, one of the key botanicals is sage which is foraged from the grounds of the distillery, the other 8 are a mix of botanicals from around the world, representing what the One Foundation is all about.

How to get involved

The foundation is crowdfunding and you can get involved and donate, whether you donate a small amount or for a £45 donation you can get your hands on one of the first bottles of One Gin, the more you pledge the better the rewards are. For example if you go all out and pledge £1500, you’ll get a One Gin afternoon tea party for 30 guests where you’ll get an exclusive tasting experience as well as afternoon tea itself, plus you’ll get a professional cocktail masterclass.
