Hot Spiced Apple GIN Cocktail 🍏☕
As it’s starting to turn a bit chillier, what better way to warm your nights at home than with hot gin cocktails? This one is quick, easy and way better than Mulled Wine!
Hot Spiced Apple Gin Recipe
This recipe is for 2 drinks, but feel free to double it or make a bigger batch!
Ingredients:
100ml Gin (we recommend Masons Orange & Lime Leaf)
Around 300ml Pressed apple juice (not from concentrate)
1 Cinnamon stick or a sprinkling of ground cinnamon
1-2 Star anise pieces
2 Orange slices
Small piece of root ginger
tsp of honey
Method:
Put a saucepan on a low heat, then add the apple juice, star anise, orange pieces, cinnamon, ginger and honey.
Allow to simmer for 5-10 mins (do not boil, as you don’t want it to be too hot or for it to reduce!)
Serve equally in glasses or mugs. I used a glass, but be warned it will be hot…so a mug is probably better!
Top each up with 50ml gin (this is a double shot ). Give a quick stir if you like.
Enjoy!
