Gin or Tea? You don’t have to choose with Masons Gin!

Since launching on World Gin Day 2013, Masons has created gins with unusual botanicals that are deliciously distinct. Masons Yorkshire Gin is a spirit proud of it’s Northern heritage and with their Yorkshire Tea Edition, you will never have to choose between a brew or G&T again!

Masons was setup by husband and wife team Karl and Catherine Mason, with the aim of creating a gin that they would want and choose to drink! Their mission was to go away from generic gins and create something really exciting. Distilled in copper alembic stills “Steve’ & “Leftie” in 200 litre batches, each 70cl bottle bears its own hand written batch and bottle number. Recently they have welcomed a new still called Kate, who is also working hard to produce more wonderful gin!

With its traditional slow distillation method, pure Yorkshire water, and  unique blend of botanicals, Masons Yorkshire Gin is very special!

The Gins

Masons Lavender Edition is  a wonderfully unique gin that is a firm favourite!

Lavender notes on the nose and a slight fennel aroma create a soft & subtle experience. Fresh candied lavender sweet flavour and anise creeping in on the dry finish.

The Original is a very special and moreish gin!

Fresh lime, orange and soft juniper lead to a peppery finish. Sweet aniseed start with bold citrus flavours, plenty of cardamom & green apple blending into a warm, mouth-watering finish.

Yorkshire Tea Edition gin? Quirky but very delicious. Amazing in cocktails!

Familiar and fresh upon the palate, with a citrus sharpness. Plenty of Yorkshire Tea flavour develops on the palate, as well as fresh aniseed, cardamom & pepper notes before the tea returns for the long finish.

The Serves

Pair with premium tonic, e.g. Fever Tree or Bottlegreen & garnish with orange peel or pink grapefruit & black pepper.

You can also pair with a premium Elderflower tonic and garnish with a sprig of basil (and optional lemon peel)

We recommend serving with premium tonic of your choice (we like Bottlegreen or Fever Tree),
with a twist of lemon peel.

Lime peel is a great garnish when serving
with premium tonic or ginger ale.
