The Perfect Gin Cocktail for St. Patrick’s Day!
After checking out some St. Patrick’s Day drinks from Taste Cocktails, I felt inspired by this one! The Last Word is a Prohibition-era cocktail that is sweet and sharp at the same time. With a pale green hue, it’s perfect for Paddy’s weekend!
The Last Word Cocktail
This recipe makes one cocktail
- 20ml Gin
- 20ml green Chartreuse
- 20ml maraschino liqueur (recommend Luxardo)
- 20ml freshly squeezed lime juice
Method:
Chill a stemmed cocktail glass in the freezer.
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway full with ice. Add the gin, Chartreuse, maraschino, and lime juice. Shake vigorously for 15 to 30 seconds. Strain into the chilled glass and enjoy!
