Silent Pool

Silent Pool Gin has one of the most beautiful bottles!

The creators of Silent Pool Gin aimed to capture the essence of England’s beautiful, rural landscape. With a distillery on the bank of the spring-fed Silent Pool, along with 24 unique botanicals…they have definitely succeeded! Not to mention the bottle design is extremely eye-catching! 😍

The Story

A group of friends came together to create a distillery, producing handcrafted, artisan spirits of extremely high quality. In the extraordinary location on the Duke of Northumberland’s Albury Estate in the Surrey Hills, a few farm buildings on the banks of the legendary Silent Pool were restored to became the home of Silent Pool Distillers.

To keep the original vision for a sustainable business, a vintage wood-fired steam boiler was restored to power the hand-built copper still. This beauty of a still was created for Silent Pool Distillers by the Arnold Holstein Company in the Lake Constance area of Germany.

Silent Pool Distillers use many local botanicals which connects them to the rural landscape. Botanicals collected from the North Downs include: elderflower, chamomile, pear and honey. There is actually a total of 24 botanicals in Silent Pool Gin! Wow!

The bottle has to be mentioned as it’s so beautiful! The turquoise glass with copper coloured illustrations really stand out. The illustrations include all 24 botanicals which you can spot if you look closely!

Within it’s first year, this unique gin reached sales of 1500 bottles per-week!

Intricately Realised

The Gin

Silent Pool Gin is a classic gin, fresh and full bodied. Juniper-driven, Silent Pool’s 24 botanicals are combined with the clear spring-water from the Silent Pool itself.

Locally sourced ingredients:

Fruit is sourced from a local farm shop.

Organic lavender is local from Mayfield lavender.

Kaffir Lime Leaves are from Essex.

Honey is sourced locally from bee keeper Sergio Pignagnoli who has over 100 hives.

Floral notes of lavender and chamomile pair perfectly with the freshness of citrus, and subtle sweetness of honey. The result is a unique and extremely well-balanced gin that definitely you need to try!

Perfect Serve

Serve Silent Pool Gin with a premium tonic water over and ice filled Copa style glass. Garnish with a large strip of orange zest snapped over the top.
