A couple of weeks ago I was very lucky and visited the new distillery of Hayman’s Gin! They have recently re-branded their bottles and have moved from Essex to Balham. The distillery is absolutely beautiful and you can also go for a visit!
I was recently invited by Didsbury Gin to their launch party! This was to celebrate their new stunning branding and gin menu at Innside by Melia hotel in Manchester. We also played gin-fuelled golf, which is an strange but amazing combination…
After checking out some St. Patrick’s Day drinks from Taste Cocktails, I felt inspired by this one! The Last Word is a Prohibition-era cocktail that is sweet and sharp at the same time. With a pale green hue, it’s perfect for Paddy’s weekend!
What an incredible location for distilling gin! Newton House Gin is set on the grounds of this beautiful house with 60 acres of garden in South Somerset. I went to visit and fell in love with not only the scenery but their delicious gin too!
All Mum’s deserve a special treat this Sunday and this gin cocktail is the best way to do it! Wonderfully refreshing Apple, Elderflower and Elephant Gin are a winning combination…
I have wanted to go on the Gin Journey in London for ages now, so I was extremely excited to get on board last week! The Gin Journey is a posh bar crawl round town with ALL the gin… you are taken on an educational gin-fuelled tour whilst experiencing some incredible cocktail bars. We ginned our way around London, but they have Leeds and Newcastle tours coming soon as well!
Apparently ginger cake gets better the longer you leave it, unfortunately in my house that’s about one day! After recently trying Elephant Gin, I knew I had to create a cake with apples and ginger to compliment the botanicals of this amazing gin.
I absolutely love pancakes and admittedly have them far too often! However it is an absolute must to have as many as possible on Shrove Tuesday. After playing around with some recipe ideas, this is the perfect treat for gin lovers this Pancake Day!
After asking many gin lovers what their favourite gin cocktail was, this one popped up a lot! The Clover Club cocktail has been around for a long time, even before prohibition. It is a pretty and classic cocktail with a beautifully rich, silky texture. Be warned, this is particularly moreish!
With Valentines Day fast approaching, creating a delicious recipe with X-Gin (“a pure aphrodisiac”) was a no brainer! I absolutely love drinking X-Gin with cocoa nibs and raspberries, and I think this creation is the perfect combination. The raspberry gin coulis was very popular in my house, so I would recommend making double the amount!
