Gin School

You Can Now Go To Gin School

If you’ve never thought about going back to school then we think we might just be able to change your mind. How, well this isn’t just any school this is a gin school!

Stop wasting away your days by watching tv when you could be spending your time expanding your mind and knowledge about everything gin related!

The Listoke Distillery in County Louth, Ireland have only gone and opened up a gin school, and you can too get involved in it!

Whats involved?

You’ll need just three hours and you’ll be turned from a beginner gin drinker into a true expert!

It all starts with a tour of the distillery, so you get to know about how gin is made, what each part of the distillery does and so on. Later on you’ll then get to our favourite bit which is the gin tasting session, here you’ll not only get the chance to try new gins but also to learn about all the botanicals that can be used.

After you’ve started to build up your knowledge you’ll get to start designing your very own flavour profile, this means you’ll be able to distill your very own personal gin which should be exactly to your taste. Once it’s all distilled you’ll be able to bottle it up, seal it and take it home for you to enjoy at a later date.

If you ask us it sounds like great fun, plus throughout the day you’ll be able to enjoy refreshments and some G&Ts.

How much is it

Prices cost £81 (€95) per person or £77 (€90) if you book it as part of a group.
