Rhubarb and Raspberry Gin
With summer just around the corner, what better way to enjoy the sun than with a refreshing fruity flavoured gin?
Tarquin’s have created a Rhubarb and Raspberry Gin, bringing to each glass its idyllic Cornish coast heritage, reminiscent of summer holidays and sunny seaside days out.
Tarquin’s Rhubarb and Raspberry Gin
Tarquin’s Rhubarb & Raspberry Gin is expertly crafted, distilled with 14 botanicals, selected by hand, with 100% British rhubarb and raspberry.
All of Tarquin’s gin is produced along the north Cornwall coast in small batches – all of which have slightly different flavours making each batch unique. The gin is handcrafted meticulously using special flame-fired copper pot stills – the three stills used called Tamara, Ferrara and Senara.
After distillation, the gin is infused with the rhubarb and raspberries – giving the gin its vibrant pink blush.
Tarquin’s Rhubarb and Raspberry Gin Perfect Serve
How you enjoy this master-crafted product will depend on your own unique preferences and tastes. However, the ideal serve is detailed as follows:
- An iced high-ball
- Ginger ale
- Fresh raspberries and mint to garnish
To create your own ways to serve this hand-crafted gin, it might help to explore the tasting notes that come with it, Tarquin’s describing these as:
Taste – “Initial hit of rhubarb sorbet followed by fresh raspberries and soft juniper.”
Nose – “Crisp, fragrant juniper still prominent as the backbone of the gin, with notes of lemon sherbet, crisp pine and eastern spice.”
Finish – “Candied raspberry jam and zesty citrus sorbet. Retains a lovely dryness to the finish due to zero added sugar.”

Are Flavoured Gins High in Calories?
While many of us know gin to have a significantly lower calorie count when compared to other popular alcoholic drinks, one survey found that some of the UK’s biggest-selling flavoured gins hold substantial amounts of sugar – sometimes even 15 teaspoons per bottle!
However, this isn’t the case for all flavoured gins, the survey sponsored by Greenall’s – a flavoured gin provider themselves – who sell a number of these gins with zero added sugar.
