The Royal Wedding this weekend is the perfect time to get together with friends to celebrate the happy couple with these delicious cocktails! Spring is finally here, (well.. at least on paper!) and our thirst for a refreshing, bright G&T to enjoy in the sun has inspired us to look for some great recipes to share with you. We shall forget about the warming flavours of cinnamon and star anise and say a big HELLO! to elderflower, rose, cucumber and all the tangy and dazzling garnishes out there.

Sweet Honey Rose

Untitled design 3

This is a pretty one and if spring had a flavour, this cocktail would be it! This is a very flowery and fresh Gin cocktail – the sweetness of the elderflower liqueur, honey and rose water is offset by the crisp of the gin and the tanginess of the grapefruit juice. Very easy to make, throw all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, shake well, pour in a glass over ice, et voila! Why not try making this with Liverpool Rose Petal Gin? We think It’d work a treat 😉

Cucumber Ginger Gin Fizz

This cocktail is super refreshing, it is what you need after a long week on a Friday night. Healthy(ish) and effortless to make, it’s also a very good incentive to make use of that Nutri Bullet you bought last Black Friday and never took out of the box… The fresh cucumber juice, the ginger syrup and the lime marry perfectly with gin, and the fizz of the soda makes all the flavours stand out! We recommend to use Thomas Dakin Gin to make this one!

Grapefruit Cardamom Gin Fizz

Untitled design 7

This suits the taste of those who love a herbal, citrusy drink. The cardamom tastes kind of like lemon – minus the bitterness – the grapefruit adds the sweet side and the rosemary blends with and brings out the flavour of the gin. A super refreshing and bright cocktail, dangerously easy to drink!
