After asking many gin lovers what their favourite gin cocktail was, this one popped up a lot! The Clover Club cocktail has been around for a long time, even before prohibition. It is a pretty and classic cocktail with a beautifully rich, silky texture. Be warned, this is particularly moreish!
With Valentines Day fast approaching, creating a delicious recipe with X-Gin (“a pure aphrodisiac”) was a no brainer! I absolutely love drinking X-Gin with cocoa nibs and raspberries, and I think this creation is the perfect combination. The raspberry gin coulis was very popular in my house, so I would recommend making double the amount!
I’ve literally fallen in love with Gordon’s Pink! Seriously surprised by its sweet berry notes and pink hue, I knew this gin would make a meringue masterpiece. Queue one pretty, pink pavlova! If you’re looking for a show-stopper recipe for over the festive season, this Gordon’s Pink Pavlova is it.
The tonic waters featured in this months ILoveGin box are from the wonderful Peter Spanton company who produce an array of tonics of which we like to bet that there’s at least one you’ve not tried yet! Whether you use the tonic in your ILoveGin box or simply buy some more to use with these recipes you’ll be sure to love the cocktails that they make.
Move over coffee and walnut cake, it’s all about the espresso and pistachio bake! This month’s Peter Spanton Cardamom Tonic really lends itself to this recipe; balancing beautifully with the flavours in this gin and tonic espresso, cardamom and pistachio cake. A trio of absolutely delightful flavours, and topped with a Slingsby Gin mascarpone too, it’s indulgent and moreish.
