5 Incredible Cocktails You Need to Make With Tarquin’s Gin

Our members this month received the Spirit of Cornwall box and loved Tarquin’s gin! We find it outstanding in a G&T but it makes great base for cocktails too. Here are some of our favourites that you have to try making! And if you need the gin you can get it here ūüėČ

Tarquin’s Cornish Garden Smash
  • 50ml of Tarquin’s Cornish Gin
  • Basil, Dill, Cucumber & Sugar Snap Pea – muddled
  • 20ml of Lemon Juice
  • 20ml of¬†Elderflower Syrup
  • 10ml of¬†Lillet Blanc
  • Cornish Pastis¬†to rinse the glass

How to Mix

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail muddler with ice. Rinse a coupe glass with Pastis and strain the mix into it. Garnish with sugar-snap pea, dill & violet flowers.

Tarquin’s Port-Side Bramble
  • 50ml Tarquin’s Cornish Gin
  • 25ml Lemon Juice
  • 15ml simple syrup
  • 20ml Creme de Mure
  • 20ml Port
  • Raspberries
  • Spring of Rosemary
  • Crushed Ice

How to Mix

Pour the Gin, Lemon Juice and sugar syrup into your shaker, half-fill with ice, and shake until ice cold. Strain into an old fashioned rock glass filled with crushed ice. Drizzle the Creme de Mure and port over the top. Garnish with fresh raspberries and the rosemary.

Sharing’s Pearing
  • 50ml Tarquin’s Saffron Gin
  • 50ml Pear Juice
  • 15ml of Lemon Juice
  • 15ml of Cointreau
  • 3 tea spoons of Honey
  • Large Pinch – Dried Rose Petals
  • 1 egg White
  • 2 dash – Orange Blossom Bitters

How to Mix

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail muddler with ice vigorously till the egg white becomes nice and foamy. Strain in a glass and garnish with crushed dry pistachios and rose petals.

Iced Tarquins
  • 50ml Tarquins Gin
  • 50ml Earl Grey Tea
  • 12.5ml Lemon Juice
  • 12.5ml Gomme
  • 50ml Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • Prosecco or Fever Tree Tonic to Top

How to Mix

Brew a pot of earl grey tea approx. 30 before making the cocktail, make it super strong and let it cool. Combine all the ingredients except the prosecco/tonic and shake them in a cocktail shaker. Pour the mix in a copa glass over lots of ice and top with tonic/prosecco.

 If Roosters Laid Eggs
  • 50ml Tarquin’s Cornish Gin
  • 25ml Jasmine tea (cooled)
  • Pinch of 5 Spice Syrup
  • 10ml lemon juice
  • Whole Egg

How to Mix

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail muddler with ice vigorously till the egg white becomes foamy. Strain in a glass and garnish with lemon peel and a sprinkle of 5 spice.
